The Cambridge Building Society has given four local charities a leg up after raising £7,000 during a charity race night.
The night, which was organised by the Society’s Busy Bees fundraising team, was in aid of the Cambridge Red Balloon Learner Centre, Camsight, the Elizabeth Coteman Fund and the Cambridge branch of the Samaritans. All four charities were on hand to receive their donations during a presentation yesterday (16th November 2010) at the Society’s headquarters in Newmarket Road, Cambridge.
