Mortgage Brain Scoops Awards Hat-trick

Mortgage Brain’s point-of-sale, CRM and compliance system, the Key, took centre stage this time around as it was awarded the coveted ‘Best Technology Provider’ title at the prestigious awards ceremony held in Birmingham on 14th October 2010.

The Pink award represents Mortgage Brain’s third award of 2010. The company was also voted ‘Best Technology Provider’ at the Mortgage Strategy Awards earlier this year and was later crowned ‘Technology Advocate of the Year’ at the 2010 British Mortgage Awards.

Januarys Helps Red Balloon Float Into New Home

The charity Red Balloon Learner Centre Group has a new home in Chesterton Mill, thanks in part to the efforts of Nick Muncey at Cambridge Consultant Surveyors Januarys.

The charity (http://www.redballoonlearner.org.uk/) which sets up learner centres for children between the ages of 10 and 17 who are unable to go to school because they have been severely bullied, was rapidly running out of space in its existing offices and asked Januarys to help them move into new premises, a job which Mr Muncey was only too happy to take on.

Cambridge-based Sitec Infrastructure Services, a major service provider to the telecoms and renewable energy infrastructure markets, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of a new Commercial Manager.

Andrew Wooltorton (39), has been brought in to lead and develop the company’s rapidly expanding renewable energy business. He comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the infrastructure services markets having held senior positions at wireless communications and network infrastructure specialist, APC Solutions in Essex, and Mentor Infrastructure Services.

Grand Designs For First Time Buyer

A first time buyer in Chatteris has got grand designs for his new home thanks to a £5,000 home makeover from the Cambridge Building Society.

Twenty-three year old Karl Walker, who lives in Meadow Close, Chatteris, secured his first mortgage from the Cambridge Building Society during a promotional campaign it ran in June and as a result, won an exclusive home makeover worth £5,000.

Mortgage Schemes Up 57% In Six Months

The number of live mortgage schemes available to intermediaries has increased by 57% during the past six months, according to figures released today from Mortgage Brain’s Monthly Product Analysis.

Over 2,600 new mortgage products have been introduced into the UK intermediary mortgage market since April 2010, indicating an impressive 57% uplift in product availability. Current figures (as of 4th October 2010), show that the total number of live mortgage schemes listed on its market leading sourcing system stand at 7,320.
